Congratulations to our new Metropoilitan Grand Almoner

Aftr several years as an Assistant to the Metropolitan Grand Almoner, W.Bro John Winter PAGPurs., has been appointed by Sir Michael Snyder to be the new Metropolitan Grand Almoner. John said he was honoured to accept the appointment which can only reflect well on the lodge as well. He went on to say "To assist me in my duties I have in a place a structure that comprises six Assistants including the Metropolitan Welfare Officer.  Each Assistant has up to 8 Almoner Liaison Officers (ALO’s) who in turn have direct responsibility for up to 50 units each comprising both Lodges and Chapters ."
